Southampton's FA Cup Winning Captain visits the Marquis stand
On May 1st 1976 Southampton, of the old second division, took on the might of Tommy Docherty's Manchester United in what was to be a thrilling day for the city of Southampton. Against all odds the underdogs led by Peter beat Manchester United 1-0 for the first in the club's history. The captain of the Southampton team on this particular day was Peter Rodrigues who purchased a motorhome from the Marquis Hampshire branch back in 2009.
Still enjoying the motorhome lifestyle, Peter attended this weeks motorhome, caravan and Camping Show and visited the Marquis stand to catch up with his Hampshire salesman Tom Cutler - a dedicated Southampton supporter and fan.
It was great to see Peter again who has been a regular at the Marquis Hampshire branch since his purchase. Both Peter and his wife Kate were treated to a complimentary drink in the dedicated hospitality area on the Marquis stand and enjoyed a good catch up with Tom.

Marquis Suffolk Sales Manager Steve Tomlinson was delighted to see some familiar faces at the Show. Mr & Mrs Tye purchased their first motorhome from Steve back in 2008. After many happy times in their Bessacarr they decided to upgrade to the all-new AutoTrail Apache 634.
The couple were extremely happy with the service received from Marquis when purchasing their last vehicle and throughout their ownership they came back to Steve to buy again!
